Hi, I’m Emily.
I hear how overwhelmed you are with figuring out what to eat. You get going with a meal plan, but your energy fizzles out.
I’m going to tell you that you may be eating the wrong thing. What you always thought were healthy choices actually may be draining your energy, disrupting your sleep, and causing your skin to breakout. The old nutrition guidelines are outdated and were scientifically wrong. It’s time to rethink what you thought was healthy.
The thing I am most passionate about as a wellness and nutrition coach is helping you embrace optimal health.
People often wonder why I have so much energy, yet call me “calm.” Let me tell you, it’s been a journey to get to this point in my life. An autoimmune diagnosis as a child sent me on a bumpy health road. I’ve lived through feeling awful, a misdiagnosis, and a final diagnosis of costochondritis, an inflammatory arthritis condition. Becoming a wellness and nutrition coach is personal to me as I’m living the lifestyle I’ve set out to teach others.
I follow a functional medicine approach to nutrition coaching. This means we look at the root cause of your issues, instead of just treating one symptom. I’m a certified culinary nutrition expert and a graduate of an Applied Nutrition in Clinical Practice course. I’m trained to develop custom meal plans for you that will optimize your health. If you’ve ever gotten a diagnosis from a doctor and did not get any nutrition recommendations, I can fill in the blanks. You can learn more about how we can work together on my Services page. I offer private wellness and nutrition coaching, in addition to some group classes.
